Sunnyvale Farmer's Market 2009 The Sunnyvale Farmer's Market has been moved to the Cal Train Parking lot on Evelyn every Saturday from 9:00am to 1pm until March 2010.
Murphy Avenue is closed to vehicle traffic. The businesses on Murphy Avenue are open for business and the sidewalks are open to pedestrian traffic.

The Sunnyvale Jazz & Beyond Series has also ended for 2009. The shows were held on Murphy Avenue and featured out door dining with delivery from all restaurants on Murphy Avenue. Jazz & Beyond on MySpace.

10th Annual Sunnyvale Summer Series 2009 in Review :
Busta Groove kicked off the 10th Annual Sunnyvale Summer Series on Wednesday June 10th, 2009. The series will continue for 12 weeks on every Wednesday night starting at 5:30pm. The bands have been booked and the schedule is as follows:

Mayor Anthony Spitaleri will be giving out awards for distinguished resident of the year, outstanding high school senior of the year, outstanding volunteer of the year, outstanding business person of the year, outstanding educator of the year, outstanding environmental achievement and outstanding contribution to the arts.
